Today you start your fascinating tour of Brazil by boarding your international flight to Sao Paulo.
As you arrive in Brazil, take a connecting flight to the Iguaçu Falls. Check-in at your hotel and have the entire afternoon to settle in and relax. You could also spend the afternoon visiting the Brazilian side of the falls. You can take several walking trails to see different panoramic viewpoints over the falls.
Today, you take an indirect 4-hour flight to Manaus. As you arrive there, you’ll be driven to your comforting accommodation. You can either relax after your journey or can also wander around this tropical gateway city. The choice is all yours. You might also opt to see its Belle Epoque opera house.
Today you make the 80 km journey, accompanied by your guide to the heart of the Amazon by boat, road, and motorized canoe. En route you'll get to witness the phenomenon known as the Meeting of the Waters, where two rivers combine signaling the start of the Amazon proper. After you arrive at your lodge, you'll be served dinner. Then you can set out on a boat trip in order to spot caiman lurking in the shadows.
Today morning, you’ll return back to Manaus and catch a 4-hour flight south to Rio de Janeiro. As you arrive in Rio de Janeiro, you’ll be driven to your hotel where you can spend some time relaxing after the long tiring journey and get ready to start exploring.
Enjoy the entire day exploring the beautiful city. You can stroll on the city's most popular beaches, Copacabana and Ipanema, and afterward visit the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue and take the cable-car to the top of Sugar Loaf mountain. The full-day tour will last around 6 hours and then you'll be dropped back at your hotel at the end.
