Day 1: Edinburgh

Your 5 Days Scotland Itinerary is going to start in Edinburgh, one of the most beautiful cities in Scotland. You’ll be spending the first part of your trip here! In the morning, you’ll be landing at Edinburgh airport where you’ll be met with your private guide. He will take you to your hotel! After catching up some rest, you will start your day from Edinburgh!

Here, you are going to witness the perfect weather and will enjoy wandering around one of the parks in the city. In the evening of the same day, you are going to take a ghost tour of the city. Edinburgh is the hilly, compact capital of Scotland! You are going to visit the elegant Georgian New Town with gardens and a medieval Old Town.

You don’t need to make this day too stressful; get back to your hotel early in the evening. Enjoy your breakfast and take enough rest to prepare yourself for the next day's hectic tour of the city.

 

Day 2: Doune Castle, Glencoe

It’s the next day of your 5 Days Scotland tour and today you are going to visit Doune Castle, Glencoe. In the morning, after breakfast and everything you’ll venture out on your trip of the Glencoe village. Located in the Western part of the country, Glencoe is particularly known for its trails that climb peaks and waterfalls. You’ll visit here the Folk Museum that occupies the 18th-century thatched cottages. And, it’s incredible to revel at the wildlife here that includes, golden eagles and red deer.

You’ll then visit the Doune Castle that is popularly related to the Outlander, Monty Python, and the Game of Thrones. This location has popularly been known for being a filming location. This place is a worth visiting location for its beauty and charm.

 

Day 3: Eilean Donean Castle

This is going to be the third day of your 5 Days Scotland tour and the destination of the day will be Glenfinnan Viaduct, Eilean Donean Castle. After, breakfast and everything in the morning, you’ll be venturing out to see the more of this beautiful place.

Day 4: Highland Games

The Highland Games take place during July and August and it would be great if you could plan it that way. Start this part of your Scotland vacation with a delicious breakfast. In the same time venture out to reach Loch Ness, the most famous loch in Scotland.

 

Day 5: Loch Ness/Inverness

This is the fifth and the last day of your 5 Days Scotland Itinerary! This day you’ll be exploring Loch Ness. It’s a big freshwater loch located in the Scottish Highland. It spans an area of 37 km in the South West of Inverness and has the surface is 16 meters above the sea level. This place is most popularly known for sightings of the cryptozoological Loch Ness Monster also known as "Nessie”.
