Day 1: Arrival in Porto

Once you have arrived and settled in, enjoy an exotic 'welcome' dinner consisting of exquisite local delicacies. Rest up at your hotel and set off on a guided tour to stretch your legs post-flight and get acquainted with the city. Porto is a captivating and lively city that is quickly becoming one of the most respected tourist destinations in Western Europe. The city boasts a substantial history, fascinating tourist attractions, a buzzing nightlife, and extraordinary tourist facilities.

Day 2: Exploring Porto

Get a panoramic view of the city as you uncover Porto on foot and by private car. Venture out through the Foz do Douro and across the river to Vila Nova de Gaia. Witness the whole of Porto from the Serra do Pilar viewpoint. Drive down to the marina to embark on your private lunch cruise down the Douro River. Upon reaching back in Vila Nova de Gaia, visit one of the port wine caves for a private tasting before you return back to your hotel.

Day 3: Visiting Lamego

This morning, bid goodbye to Porto and make your way north to the Douro Valley. En route, stop in the countryside for a private cooking experience and to learn about traditional meals while enjoying lunch in a family home. After lunch, continue north to check in at the Six Senses Douro Valley, the lavish spa brand's first hotel in Europe.

Day 4: A Winery Tour in Lamego

Today, explore the hills and vineyards of the Douro Valley and get the opportunity to taste wines at some of the best wineries in the region. Enjoy a port winery tour and tasting before you make your way to a winery with panoramic views for lunch. Fit in a final tasting into your schedule on the way back to your hotel.

Day 5: Heading to Sintra

Depart the Douro Valley and travel south to Sintra. Relax at your luxurious hotel and enjoy the amenities of the establishment. Enjoy a luxurious spa and massage treatment to rid yourself of any weariness. Have a traditional meal made of locally sourced ingredients.

Day 6: Exploring Sintra

A picturesque Portuguese town, Sintra is situated amidst the pine-covered hills of the Serra de Sintra. The variety of captivating historic buildings and marvelous scenery has established Sintra as a remarkable tourist destination. Visit the palaces and gardens of Sintra with your guide. These palaces look as if they have been pulled directly from the pages of a fairy tale. Admire the Quinta da Regaleira, which is designed by an Italian opera set designer. Explore the Palcio da Pena, which offers wide views of the surrounding area.

Day 7: Venturing to Lisbon

Leave Sintra with your private guide and make your way to Portugal's capital city, Lisbon. After you check in at your hotel and settle in, take a guided tour of the area. Stroll the streets of central Lisbon, tasting local delicacies on your way. Later, take an excursion by car to one of the outer districts of Lisbon, Belm, the area from which Vasco da Gama set sail. Witness the elaborately decorated Jernimos Monastery and Torre de Belm before you return back to your hotel.

Day 8: Cruise Tour in Lisbon

Today, explore Castello Sao Jorge. The castle is counted among Lisbon's best attractions. It provides some of the most breathtaking views of the city because of its hilltop location. Later in the evening, get on a cruise down the Tagus River. Relish light snacks and drinks while taking in the sunset.

Day 9: Reaching Monsaraz

This morning, venture east from Lisbon to Portugal's Alentejo region. Make your first stop in the capital of the region, vora. Explore Roman ruins, Gothic cathedrals, and Moorish alleyways before you continue on to a wine-tasting lunch outside the city.

Day 10: Exploring Monsaraz

The graceful ancient village of Monsaraz retains the magic from medieval times like few others in the world. Made of schist and lime, this place whispers to us between the echo of our footsteps in its streets. Learn spectacular stories told about its courageous kings, brave people, Knights Templar, and dames of simple beauty. Today, spend the entire day at leisure, relishing the many facilities that your hotel has to offer. Borrow a bike to cycle through the sprawling property of the hotel and indulge in some pampering at the Suzanne Kaufmann spa. Tour the vineyards of the hotel, culminating in a tasting. At night, go for some stargazing at night in the observatory.

Day 11: Departure Back Home

After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the Lisbon airport for your international departure.
