From Auckland, you will fly to Queenstown. Located on the southwest part of the South Island, Queenstown is well known as the adventure capital of New Zealand. During the winter and spring season(June to October), Queenstown is famous for world-class skiing. Of course, there are lots to do in Queenstown year-round.

The best attraction near Queenstown is Sound of Milford. Described by Rudyard Kipling as the 'eighth wonder of the world', Milford Sound was formed by glaciers during the ice periods. Fascinating in any weather, the fiord's hills rise vertically from the dark waters, mountain peaks touch the sky and waterfalls force downwards from as high as 1000 meters. When it rains in Milford Sound, those waterfalls multiply with great effect. With this Newzealand tour package, you can explore sound while enjoying different water sports, cruising and trekking.

The 'tuff rings' formed by volcanic explosion thousands of years ago can be viewed in the land outlines and forms a natural amphitheater with about 10 hectares developed as first-class sports fields. There are formal gardens, duck ponds, vast green open areas fringed by mature trees, bush walks and sculpture.
