Day 1: Riga – The Cultural Centre of Latvia

Riga, the capital of Latvia and is located at the mouth of the River Daugava on the Baltic Sea. This lovely city is said to be the cultural centre of the country and it also houses many concerts and museums. You can also get to see the old medieval Old Towns, nouveau architecture and wooden buildings. There are many shops, bars, restaurants, night clubs and is also home to busy Livu Square. You will land at the Riga International Airport and right from the place your personal guide will take you to your hotel. After your meal, you can head out to explore the jaw-dropping beauty of the city. Riga is certainly the most sought after Urban treasures, particularly for the first-time travellers. Riga is the perfect blend of cutting edge cool and the timeless traditions. First, you can go through the amazing architecture and history. You will read through the story through the astonishing skyline. From Soviet Commissars to Swedish Kings and German Knights, everyone has left their footprints here. And, you will see the World heritage site of cobblestones and the serene rivers. It’s also an adventure for helping your taste buds get satiated. Day 2: Jurmala – Explore the City of Resort on the Gulf of Riga

Jurmala is just 30 minutes away from the city of Riga and this is going to be your perfect move after visiting Riga. It’s the perfect seaside location where you can unwind everything there in your head. Just after having your breakfast, you can head towards your second Latvia vacation spot that is Jurmala. The city is known widely for its long, sandy J?rmala Beach, wooden, art nouveau seaside villas and Soviet-era sanatoriums. Very close to Jurmala Beach is the Dzintari Forest Park and the Dzintari Concert Hall complex. And, then your guide will take you to the Jurmala City Museum which showcases the story of this beautiful city, situated on the bank of Lielupe River. Day 3: Rundale Palace – The most Elegant Remnant of Imperial Rule

And, on your third day, you can head towards the Rundala Palace. Your personal guide will take you to this elegant remnant of the imperial rule. This was the one-time gift from the Catherine the Great, the empress of Petersburg located left of Latvia. The blooming rose garden spanning all through will take your breath away and make you fall in love with the place.  Day 4: Bauska – Feel the Abundance of Rivers and many Natural Reserves

You will start of your day after having breakfast at your hotel in Riga. This is really going to adventure and fun at Bauska which is situated in the Southern Latvia. The place is 66 km away from Riga, the capital city of Latvia and is 20 km away from the Lithuanian Border. This beautiful town is located at the convergence place of rivers Memele and Musa which meets to form the Lielupe River. This place is widely known for its abundant rivers, pristine forests, and various natural reserves. In addition to the various outdoor attractions, you will get to visit here, many of its historical locations including the Baroque and Rococo-style Rundale Palace and the 15th century Bauska Castle. Your guide will teach you on the early history of the time while at the Bauska Museum or, will take you around for a tour of the city. Also, at the Motor Museum you will be astonished to see the old-styled vehicles and that too completely in a renovated Soviet Era Warehouse. And, after a short tour, you can go about tasting the local specialities.

 Day 5: Jelgava – The Most Picturesque Part of the Country

Jelgava is the most Scenic part of the country and it is located 46 minutes away from Bauska. This historic city of Jelgava came into existence around 1578 and that makes its one of the oldest cities of the country of Latvia. You will get to explore here, plenty of cultural and historical attractions here at the place. And, some of those most interestingly delighting historical highlights of the place are the Jelgava Holy Trinity Church Tower and it has an observation desk and a Museum, the Jelgava Palace Museum and the Jelgava History and Art Museum. In addition to the historical and cultural attractions of the place, you will get to explore the city, go hiking in the Lielupe Flood meadows, cycling around the city, go for bird watching and see some real wild horses. You can also go for hot air balloon excursion if you really love it.
