Day 1: Arrival in Budapest

Get a private transfer to your hotel upon arrival at the airport. Spend the afternoon exploring the city and getting a feel for the local culture and cuisine. Some suggestions for activities include: Strolling along the banks of the Danube River and taking in the sights of the Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion, and other landmarks. Visiting the Hungarian Parliament Building, a stunning example of Neo-Gothic architecture

 

Try some of the city's famous street food, such as langos (a deep-fried dough topped with cheese and sour cream) or kolbasz (smoked sausage). Enjoy a traditional Hungarian dinner at a local restaurant and sample some of the country's famous wines in the evening.

Day 2: Tragor Ignac Museum

Start the day with a visit to the Tractor Ignac Museum, a unique and interactive museum dedicated to the life and work of Ignac Tragor, a famous Hungarian artist and illustrator

Explore the museum's exhibitions, which showcase Tragor's original paintings, sketches, illustrations, personal belongings, and memorabilia. Break for lunch in the afternoon, and visit the nearby Hungarian National Gallery, which features an extensive collection of Hungarian art. Return to the hotel for dinner. 

Day 3: See the Seven Chapels

Day 4: Explore the beautiful Baroque City

Take a day trip to the beautiful Baroque city of Eger, located just a short train ride from Budapest. Explore the city's historic center, with its narrow streets, charming squares, and elegant mansions. Try some of the city's famous wines at one of the local wine cellars. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Hungarian dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5: Visit the Triumphal Arch

Start the day with a visit to the Triumphal Arch, a stunning neoclassical monument located in the center of Budapest. Take a stroll through Heroes' Square, which features several vital statues and landmarks. 

Day 6: Must visit - March 15 Square

Spend the day exploring the city's many markets and shopping districts, including the Central Market Hall and the Great Market Hall. Stop by March 15 Square, a bustling square featuring several shops and restaurants. Have lunch, and in the evening, attend a performance at the Budapest Operetta Theater, a famous venue for operetta and light opera performances.

Have dinner at a premium restaurant before returning to the hotel. 

Day 7: Trip to the charming town of Visegrad

Take a day trip to the charming town of Visegrad, located just a short drive from Budapest. Visit the Bishop's Palace, a beautiful castle complex featuring a museum, art gallery, and stunning views of the Danube River and the surrounding countryside

Explore the town's historic center, with its narrow streets, charming squares, and elegant mansions. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local caf or restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace, a stunning Baroque palace, once the residence of Hungarian kings and queens. In the evening, return to Budapest and enjoy a traditional Hungarian dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8: Departure
