Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to the worlds center, Quito

Upon arrival, you will get a private transfer to your hotel. In the evening, join your private guide on an excursion to the old town. Spend some time at the historical center, colonial churches, meandering on the charming historic streets, markets, and some of the city's most important buildings, like the presidential palace. Return to your cozy hotel for dinner.

Day 2 - Cotopaxi & Ruminahui, Isinlivi

Early in the morning, your private guide will drive you one and a half hours to Cotopaxi National Park to discover the snow-capped volcanoes Cotopaxi and Ruminahui volcanoes and the vast LImpiopungo lake, passing right between them. Go hiking up further up to the Refugio Rivas at 16,000 ft. Enjoy a delectable lunch with a spectacular view of the Andes. Then, proceed to the Mariscal Sucre Museum and sip a cup of freshly brewed Cocca tea. You will check into a premium resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Trekking To Chugchilan

Join your private guide on an early morning trek from Isinlivi to Chugchilan village. It will take at least 4 to 6 hours to cover the total distance of 12 miles. Experience the lives of the local community, and some grazing horses and sheep that inhabit the farms. Savor a delicious lunch in a local village. Have a relaxing hot shower at 3200m above sea level in a cozy hotel, where you will enjoy dinner and rest for the night.

Day 4 - Quilotoa Lake Visit / Banos

After breakfast, visit Quilotoa Lake, located at 12,000 ft. above sea level. Hike down towards the crater and experience a kayaking adventure for forty-five minutes. Then, your private guide will drive you three hours towards Banos stopping by for Ice Sorbet tasting, and sightseeing. Stay overnight in a fantastic hotel and enjoy some of the Banos Nightlife.

Day 5 - Exploring the waterfalls at the Amazon Jungle

Explore Banos Citys local market, and the main Church, and stop for the Melcochas tasting. Then, set off on Ruta de las Cascadas (Route of the Waterfalls). Experience the beauty of Egoyan waterfall where you will enjoy the zipline. In Manto de la Novia, cross Pastaza Canyon by cable car. View the largest waterfall, the Pailon del Diablo (Devils cauldron), and climb its staircase to get a good look at the breathtaking views of Rio Verde Waterfall. Here, have a lavish dinner before heading to your lodge in the jungle for an overnight stay. 

Day 6 - Jungle Explorations

Hop on a motorized canoe ride on the Napo River stopping at Misahually known as The Monkeys Town for sightseeing. Then, continue the canoe ride to the Arajuno River and visit the Amazon Rescue Center. Spot parrots, macaws, paroquets, ocelots, caimans, snakes, and different species of monkeys here, while learning more about the forest and the conservation projects from your private guide. Have lunch near the shore of the Arajuno River. Then, continue the canoe ride to Tiyu Yaku Kichwa Community, learn their ways of living, and the art of ceramic products, relish their local cuisine for dinner, and head back to your Jungle lodge to rest.

Day 7: Rafting adventure

Embark on a four-hour road journey with your private guide to Cumanda village. Get ready for an unforgettable experience of a white water rafting tour down to Pastaza River. The rapids are grade III-IV and the route offers exhilarating views of the landscape. After the adventure, your private guide will take you to your hotel in Cumanda for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8 - International Departure

Your private guide will transfer you to Guayaquil airport for your flight back home.
