Day 1: San José & La Fortuna 

Wooo...finally you are here! It’s going to start today. You land in here at the San Jose International Airport. With this itinerary, we are assuming that you are being guided by some experienced Costa Rica tour agents. Your guide will meet you with an overwhelming welcome at the airport. He will escort you to your hotel in the town of La Fortuna. 

Here, begins your odyssey of exploration. On the way to your hotel, you will be watching out the beautiful green mountains where the coffee plantation is done, the dense forests, and cattle fields. It feels incredible winding through quaint towns and small cities. 

When you will be about to reach La Fortuna, the volcano begins to appear vaguely. Don’t worry, you are going to see it elaborately. Once you have reached your accommodation, just relax, settle down and grab your brunch. After catching up on some rest, venture out to explore the fascinating central parks, shops, and wonderful streets. 

At the end of the day, come back to your hotel, enjoy your dinner, plan out for the next day trip, and take a rest.

Day 2: Arenal National Park - Hiking Day

The park is huge covering an area of 29,692 acres. Though, there’s only one primary ranger station through which it is reached. For those who are renting a car or taxi, parking is available.
