Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Chichen Itza

Meet your private guide at Chichen Itza airport, who will transfer you to your hotel. Set off with your guide on an introductory tour of the city. The Mayan city of Chichen Itza, famous for its pyramid ruins, is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Wonder at the El Castillo, aka the Temple of Kukulkan, which is the best-known pyramid. Learn how it is designed according to the astronomical calendar so that during the equinoxes, the sunlight creates a vision of a feathered snake climbing down its sides. Marvel at the Mesoamerican ball court, with its unique audio qualities and intricately carved rings.

Day 2: Isla Mujeres

Take a one-day trip from Cancun to the most popular tourist destination, Isla Mujeres. Unwind at the lovely beach of Isla Mujeres. Discover that Isla Mujeres is home to the Temple of Ixchel, the Mayan fertility goddess. This eight-kilometer Island has been pulling large crowds to its main beach site of Playa Norte. Enjoy some delectable food in the Downtown area in one of the many premium restaurants here. Following that, visit the place for snorkeling, kayaking, and zip-lining at the Garrafon Natural Reef Park.

Day 3: The Maya Museum

Discover the Museo Maya de Cancn, located in the Cancn Center, the city's large convention complex. Learn more about the region's rich history in the museum, which is the largest such museum project since the opening of the Templo Mayor Museum in Mexico City in 1987. Discover more about the ancient roots of the region's Mayan culture, from its founding centuries ago to the modern-day. Examine the 350 artifacts spread across three halls, including skeletal remains found in Tulum that date back 14,000 years and the remains of the famous 10,000-year-old "Woman of the Palms."

Day 4: All Ritmo Water Park

Freshen up from your travels at the fun place of All Ritmo waterpark. Enjoy the exciting water rides and slides present there. The park also has a mini-golf arena, a soccer field, a tennis court, and a full-fledged games area where you can relax and indulge in some game therapy with your friends or family. Be delighted to dive in and explore this seabed-based attraction dedicated to the "art of conservation." Wonder at this unique art collection with more than 500 sculptures spread across two underwater galleries submerged at depths of between three and six meters. Examine the encompassing human figures present in a variety of poses. Enjoy a glass-bottom boat tour to peek at the galleries. Go for an exciting guided snorkeling or diving tour to see them up close.

Day 6: Cenotes

Roam around the entire coast of the Riviera Maya to find numerous cenotes, nearly 7,000 in total. Cenotes are natural pools formed from collapsed limestone with sapphire, turquoise, and emerald waters. Go for a delightful swim or snorkel at some cenotes open to the sun and surrounded by tropical trees and hanging vines. Enjoy an adventurous scuba dive at other Cenotes, which are parts of the vast underground cave and river systems.
