Day 1: Arrival in Glencoe
Your Scotland journey begins as you arrive in Glasgow, meet your private guide and embark on your trip to Glencoe. This is a wonderful journey whose landscape only gets better the deeper into the Highlands you traverse. Spend the entire day exploring the dramatic scenery of the area, including exploring Loch Leven and Glencoe and ascending into the Nevis Range by mountain gondola.
Day 2: Visiting Duisdealmor
Today morning, you'll depart from Glencoe and traverse to Mallaig to board the ferry to the Isle of Skye. The journey to Mallaig is a beautiful one as you'll be traveling next to the railway line which was used as the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter movies. Enjoy your brief ferry ride over to the Isle of Skye and soak in the sights from the sea. The tour will take about half an hour. On reaching Skye, visit Dunvegan Castle and gardens accompanied by a private guide, where you'll learn much more about the MacLeod clan. After the tour, experience life as a local while relishing a wee dram of whiskey.
Day 3: Exploring Duisdealmor
This morning, get ready for a walk accompanied by a local guide to experience the natural beauty of Skye up close and personal.
Day 4: A Day Tour of Grantown-on-Spey
Today, you will traverse from the Isle of Skye to the Cairngorms. En route, make sure to stop in the scenic seaside village of Plockton, visit the most iconic castle of Scotland, Eilean Donan, and soak in the views of Loch Ness.
Day 5: Heading to Dublin
Today morning, get excited for a bumpy adventure as you explore the Rothiemurchus Estate accompanied by a private countryside ranger. You’ll reach Edinburgh airport to check in for your flight to Dublin. After clearing customs, you'll be transferred to your hotel. After having a chance to settle in, head out to the most popular attraction of Ireland, the Guinness Storehouse. Your tickets are included for this self-guided tour which also includes one complimentary pint of Ireland's flagship beer. Later in the evening, you’ll get a chance to enjoy folklore and storytelling at one of Dublin's oldest pubs.
Day 6: Another Day in Dublin
This morning, get ready to embark on a full-day tour of the monastic ruins of Glendalough and the magnificent Wicklow mountains accompanied by a knowledgeable local hiking guide.
Day 7: A Day of Exploring Ennis
Today morning, you'll be driven to Ennis. The journey passes the heart of the country and takes just under three hours as per the traffic. The quaint commercial hub of Clare, Ennis is situated on the banks of the River Fergus, which flows east, then south into the Shannon Estuary. The town's ancient origins are recalled by its uneven, narrow streets but the most crucial surviving historical site is Ennis Friary.
The sights here are few, but the town center, having narrow, pedestrian-friendly streets, is quite enjoyable to wander.
Day 8: Visiting Galway
Today will be dedicated to exploring the iconic Cliffs of Moher and the splendid limestone karst pavement scenery of the Burren, thus ending your day in and around Galway.
Day 9: More Time in Galway
This morning, head out to explore Connemara National Park. Immerse yourself in the wild and rugged scenery and enjoy to the fullest all that natural Ireland has to offer.
Day 10 Departure Back Home
Early this morning, you'll depart Galway and will be driven to Shannon airport to board your international flight back home.
