DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro - Welcome to Brazil

Today you begin your Brazil journey by boarding an international flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, you’ll be met by your guide at the airport who’ll drive you to your hotel. Relax at the comfort of your hotel so that you can kick-start your amazing journey the next day.

Day 2: A Day in Rio de Janeiro

The vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro is one of Brazil’s most famous and visited tourist destinations for centuries. Its lively city center is pulsating with culture and bursting with a deep sense of history and heritage. Rio, as the city is commonly known, is also the second largest city in Brazil and the third largest metropolis in entire South America.

Because of all these reasons, Rio is an impressive and memorable attraction for tourists from all over the world. Relish a jeep tour of the most exciting sights of Rio such as the statue of Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Mountain. Also, spend a bit of your time exploring the tranquil botanical gardens. In the evening, you can stroll along the Rio’s beaches for some peaceful moments.

Day 3: Visiting Paraty

Paraty, a coastal historic town situated in the state of Rio de Janeiro was first settled by the Portuguese in the year 1667. The old churches, nearby forests, cobbled streets, emerald-green sea, waterfalls, and islands attract lots of tourists who are interested in blending cultural tourism and more natural settings. You’ll be transferred along the astonishing Green Coast to the stunning colonial town of Paraty, which was once an important part of Brazil’s gold rush.

You can opt for a group excursion into the Mata Atlantica Forest, or visit some local waterfalls and learn how Brazil's very own version of Rum, Cachaca, is produced at a conventional distillery.
You can further explore the cobbled streets of Paraty, with a number of endearing shops and restaurants. There is also an interesting option for you to hire a boat and head out to some deserted beaches.

Day 4: Spend some relaxing time at Ilha Grande

Have you ever dreamt of cocktails at sunset, white sand under your feet and the sound of waves crashing on the beach? Well, then Ilha Grande is the perfect island destination for you! It is a stress-free location which is away from any chaos, where no cars are allowed.

Ilha Grande is a magnificent tropical island situated only a few hours boat trip away from Rio de Janeiro.
Splendid blue skies, tempting ocean, and empty beaches could all be yours here. You could also take a boat trip to the wonderful Lopes Mendes beach or trek into the Atlantic rainforest of the island's interior. Snorkeling at one of the many beaches is also an option for you.

Day 5: Departure

Today, get back to Rio de Janeiro to catch a flight back home. You’ll be taking with you some amazing memories from the trip that you are sure to share merrily with your loved ones.
