Detailed Itinerary

Day 1-2: Get the safari excitement in Chobe National Park

After arriving at your hotel, you will probably be relaxing for some time. Considering that, we would suggest you to enjoy the food and the local markets of your place on the first day of your trip. Do not try to see more in less time because it would make you tired for the second day which is going to be adventurous. After a good night’s sleep in your luxurious Botswana hotel, wake up early in the morning and meet your guide who will take you to the Chobe National Park.

Chobe National park is the first place where you will spot the African wildlife through bare eyes. you will get to see and feel massive herds of elephants roaming and swaying their trunks in the deep Chobe Forest. Although it’s the simplest of the camps used on your safari, it’s exceptionally positioned to maximize the feeling of being in the heart of nature. Find the elephants closest to your Botswana Safari camp and on the highway roads during the road journey. Follow their journey to the forest, see them walking in a herd of hundreds of elephants. Follow the paths to see their daily activities. See how the mother elephant walks side by side to the baby elephant. See them bathing, relaxing, and walking into the forest.

Day 3-4: The endless drama of Okavango Delta

If you are really looking for a huge animal party, then Okavango Delta is the place you must visit. Book the day two of your Botswana safari for the ultimate drama of Okavango Delta where you'll find one of the world’s largest river deltas, an epic oasis that must feel like the Promised Land for thirsty mammals who trek across endlessly parched plains. Admire the water tumbling down into the rivers and lagoons. Feast your eyes on the elegant and classic antelopes followed by Kudu, Springbok, Gazelle, Gemsbok, and many more. The Savannah, the grassland, the floodplains, and the forest makes this place completely picturesque. And yes, if you want to spot the big cats as well, do spend one more day in Okavango Delta and find the leopards ruling the trees, crocodiles sunbathing in the river Nile, and lions dominating the grassland. When in Okavango Delta, one day is just not enough.

Day 5: Admiring the majestic Masai Mara

A drive to Masai Mara will take you to the land of mammals and golden savannah.  Things to admire at Maasai Mara are many and you will be needing a full day to explore and delve deep into the park.  Look across the Mara River towards Tanzania and the plains of the Serengeti. It is across this crocodile and hippo infested river that the Great Wildebeest Migration makes its bold crossing, in pursuit of greener pastures. A lucky few may have the opportunity to observe this dangerous spectacle. Do not miss the incredible boisterous young males fight for mating rights and bull elephants drinking water in a group.

Day 6: Farewell to Africa

Transfer to Nairobi for your homebound international flight. Note that there is an option for either a land transfer (approximately four hours) or a short flight from nearby Mombassa Airport.
