Day 1: Germanisches Nationalmuseum & Mercedes-Benz Museum

After looking into all of the Germany vacation packages, this itinerary has been designed. It will take you through this incredible journey of exploration of the amazingly built museums throughout Germany. 

This is the first day of this vacation and today you will explore two of the amazing museums in the country. Germanisches Nationalmuseum & Mercedes-Benz Museum are on your travel radar today. We would suggest going through the details of the museums before visiting them. 

You will start with Germanisches Nationalmuseum today!  The museum is located in Nürnberg and is one of the most popular museums of culture & art. People from throughout the world come to discover the nuances the museum has used. And, if you are particularly driven to art & culture, this is the right place for you. The collection that you will see here belongs to various decades. From incredible paintings to sculptures, weapons, textiles, armor, weapons, it includes everything. 

In the other half of the day, you are going to visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum. A half-day is really not enough to completely explore this place. Located in Stuttgart, the capital of the state of Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany, Mercedes-Benz is an auto museum. It showcases the history of cars in the country. With over 160 vehicles, 1500 exhibits, covering an area of around 16,500 square meters, the time that you will spend here will be worth it. Day 2: Deutsches Museum & Neanderthal Museum

In the first half of the day, it’s time to explore the Deutsches Museum. Located in the vibrant city of Munich, the Deutsches Museum is the largest science & technology museum in the world. Experimental workshops are held at regular intervals, giving opportunities to children and adults to explore different aspects of physics & science. The entire area of 25,000 square meters is all divided into different sections including humanity, transport, energy, natural science & communication. You can visit different sections and spend more time in the sections where your inclination is. 

In the second half of the day, you are going to explore the Neanderthal Museum. Located 12km from Düsseldorf in the Neander Valley, the museum demonstrates the growth of mankind from the beginning. Around 160 years from now, the first Neanderthal was found and the museum was built a short distance from this location. After you visit the museum, you will learn about the four million years old story of mankind from the beginning. With the use of science including archaeology and palaeoanthropology, and modern tools & techniques like audio presentations and others, it presents the real picture. It’s a great idea to read and study about the development of humans. 

Day 3: International Maritimes Museum & DDR Museum

The third day of this Germany vacation and today you are going to cover another two important museums - International Maritimes Museum & DDR Museum. The first spot is going to be the International Maritimes Museum, which is particularly a great place for the ones who are interested in shipping, high seas, and boats. Here, in the Museum, you will see the private collection of Peter Tamm. You will get to see the 40,000 pieces that also include maritime art, construction plans, uniforms, dugout canoe, and more. In the other half of the day, you will be visiting the DDR Museum or the Deutsches Demokratisches Republic Museum. Day 4: Departure
