Today, this is going to start in a relaxing way. After breakfast leaves you comfy den to explore the food in Armenia. You will start by wandering around the Yerevan city and then head for Vagharshapat, which is around 18 km away from the Yerevan city. Once you reach, a delicious Armenian style lunch is waiting for you. Visit Cross of Unity in Echmiadzin ~ a social enterprise where people with disabilities get to work & children have the privilege of attending art classes for free. They also own a restaurant where you are going to enjoy amazing local food including Morash and Kyufta. In addition to that Armenian eat bread (Lavash), which is made with water, salt & flour and this won’t rot even after a year or more. Bread is an important part of every Armenian meal and even after an Armenian is eating rice they will need bread. You can interact with a local & know more about how bread is baked & more on cooking Armenian food.

All Armenia vacation packages which include coffee tasting will start with an amicable interaction with the locals. Once you interact with a local, you will get to know that the difference lies in its method of preparation. Armenians will first crush the coffee beans adding water to eat and then heating the mixture in their special coffee pot. The time it gets rising and there’s foam, you can pour down into a coffee mug and drink.

Maybe this special preparation method brings the difference. Armenian like to drink thick coffee with no sugar with a thick layer of coffee at the base. First taste it in a local Armenian home and then go to a cafe and try it. The day is going to be worth it!

The Garni temple is the only Pagan temple that is alive (in the literal sense) today! The story goes somewhere around 3500 years back. It was when most of the Pagan temples were destroyed at the time when Christianity was being adopted as the state religion in Armenia. The Garni temple remained because of its immense beauty & amazing architecture. This particular temple was so very beautiful that the followers of Christianity could not destroy it.
