Last winter, we decided to Visit China and it was a great decision to even have thought about it. As there are lots of places to visit in China, we decided to have at least 2 weeks of tour in China and hence we were searching for some travel operators when we stumbled upon Leisure. I saw some excellent travel itineraries which was fascinating. We could not stop ourselves from sending a travel request to the site. To my amazement, we got to hear from their side soon. We had some demands and adjustments to make in the itinerary and they completely listened to us. The pricings offered by the tour operator also seemed fine and we booked with them.
When we arrived in China, we were taken to our pre-booked hotel and we were helped a lot by our pre-planned commute. The guides were informative, friendly, and added a great deal to the experience. You really can't go to China without them unless you speak Mandarin yourself. We also appreciated that the travel company people were flexible and tried to work in last-minute additions as best they could. There were many highlights: the Bird's Nest and Water Cube at night, walking on the Great Wall, 798 Art District in Beijing, the Longmen Grottoes, the terra cotta warriors, Chengdu Panda Center, eating incendiary hot pot at a retro-Communist-themed restaurant, the rice terraces at Longsheng, the spectacular 600-performer show on the riverbank in Yangshuo, hiking all over Yellow Mountain, and the incredible architecture of Shanghai.
Given a chance, everyone should visit China as it is a milieu of both culture and history. Some of the world’s first heritage cities are in China and the Great Wall of China just adds into celebration one gets to see there. Also, it is a great place to shop. Try visiting China with this operator.
