Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: London - Big Ben and Whitehall

Upon arrival in London, a private driver will welcome you and transfer you to your luxury hotel. This afternoon, venture out for an introductory tour on a vintage Mini Cooper. Pass by iconic sites such as Trafalgar Square, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, and Big Ben. In the evening, your guide will drop you at your hotel. 

Day 2: London - Westminster Abbey & Tower of London

After breakfast, your private guide will pick you up from your hotel. Visit Westminster Abbey for a guided tour of many of the relics and tombs in this testament to England's past. Next, you will tour the Tower of London to learn of its often infamous past and see an exhibit of the Crown Jewels. In the evening, take a boat ride along the Thames River.

Day 3: London - Highlights of Dover and Canterbury

After breakfast, your guide will transport you to the legendary White Cliffs of Dover. Then, visit Canterbury to hear how Canterbury Cathedral became a pilgrimage site and its pivotal role in English history. From the timber-framed houses to ancient walls built by Romans and medieval cobbled streets, every part of it will connect you with the past.

Day 4: London - Greenwich

Today, visit the London borough of Greenwich, famous for its maritime history. Visit the London Bridge, the National Maritime Museum, the restored 19th century Cutty Sark, and the Old Royal Naval College. Also in this area, youll see the very modern O2 arena located on a small peninsula. End the tour at the Royal Observatory, where you can see the Greenwich meridian line. 

Day 5: Oxford - University town of Oxford

Check out of your hotel this morning and transfer to Oxford with your guide, about one hour away. After checking into your luxurious country house hotel, take a tour of Oxford University. Continue to visit manor houses, and explore nearby towns and villages such as Stow-in-the-Wold and Minster Lovell. Return to the hotel for dinner. 

Day 6: Oxford

A short drive from Oxford with your guide brings you to Blenheim Palace. Inside the palace, meet your palace guide, who will take you on a tour of the artifacts and grounds, including an insightful Winston Churchill exhibit. In the afternoon, youll have time to explore Oxfords Queen Street, a lovely shopping and dining area where cars are forbidden. 

Day 7: Departure

The morning is at leisure in Oxford until it is time to be transferred back to Heathrow International Airport for your departure flight.
