Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Slovenia

Welcome to the lovely capital city of Slovenia, Ljubljana. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your private guide and will have plenty of time to get to know your fellow travelers. After check-in, you can relax for sometime and then head out to explore the city on your own. You can also grab a welcome drink along the scenic riverside. The real adventure is going to begin tomorrow.

Day 2: Trekking in the Julian Alps

This morning, you head out towards Lake Bohinj where you start your trek through Triglav National Park. Cross by the charming alpine pastures as you move up to a mountain hut situated just below Mount Triglav, which is the highest Slovenian mountain. If you still feel energetic enough, there is an option to climb an approximately 6000-foot peak with spectacular views of the Julian Alps.

Day 3: Tour of The Valley of the Seven Triglav Lakes

Today, get ready to venture through splendid alpine scenery with incredible views. Again you have the option to rise a lofty peak, just south of Mount Triglav. Later on, wander down the Valley of the Seven Lakes and learn here the geological history of this outstanding landscape. You can even find a fossil or two if you happen to be lucky enough. Overnight stay will be in a comfortable hut just next to one of the lakes.

Day 4: Trekking Tour in the Julian Alps and Lake Bohinj

After breakfast this morning, you'll wave goodbye to the highest peaks and make your way to the land of the alpine pastures. On reaching, you can try some home-made local products here and enjoy a delicious traditional lunch. There will definitely be enough time to explore the glittering Lake Bohinj and treat yourself to a memorable swim in its crystal clear waters.

Day 5: One Day Tour of Bled, Pericnik Waterfall, Vrsic and Bovec

The very first stop for today’s tour is the magical Lake Bled. Take some time to visit the island, walk up to a stunning viewpoint, or just relax on the lakeside and take in the fresh air. On your way northwest, make sure to walk under the captivating Pericnik Waterfall before wandering up the curvy road to the impressive mountain pass, Vrsic, located in the center of the Julian Alps. From here, you can set off on another hike to a summit with incredible views of the surrounding high limestone walls.

Day 6: Venturing The Mt. Mangart, Bovec, and the Soca Valley

Today morning, you’ll be heading out to climb the incredible Mt. Mangart on the border between Slovenia and Italy. This peak offers not only breathtaking views of three countries but a truly spectacular hike as well. After enjoying a delicious lunch, set off to explore some hidden corners and waterfalls present in the Soca Valley before spending the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 7: Exploring The Historic Town of Kobarid and the Vineyards

Wander southward today to visit the historic town of Kobarid and learn in detail about tragic WWI events that happened in the region. After enjoying a lovely walk by the Soca River and a comforting local lunch, continue your journey to the wine region of Goriska Brda and relish the Mediterranean landscape, sample some mouth-watering local products, and of course taste the wonderful wines. Savor your final evening with a delicious farewell dinner.
