It’s a Christian pilgrimage site with an assortment of 200,000 wooden crosses that have been erected on a hill in Lithuania. After this, the next destination is the city of Kaunas. Here, the establishment of Ninth Fort Memorial comes in the grounds of Kaunas Fortress. Initially, it was a prison during the Nazi occupation of Lithuania now, it has been transformed into a poignant memorial to 100-foot tall monument dominating the grounds.

Sigulda is a town described as Latvia’s Switzerland where anyone can escape from a life of city’s hustle-bustle. Stop at the Salaspils Concentration Camp and Struve Geodetic that comprise the breathtaking sightseeing and other beautiful views. Other destinations of the day would be Gutmanis Cave and the medieval Turaida Castle. These are Latvia’s oldest tourist attractions till date.

When it comes to the tremendous escape from the city’s noise than Jurmala’s seaside is worth enough to explore.
