Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Beijing

The capital city of China awaits you at the international airport from where you will be picked up and transferred to your luxurious hotel. While driving to your hotel, do not miss to capture the scenic beauty of the Beijing streets through your eye lens. Peek from the window and you will find the streets vibrant and colorful with an impeccable energy. Reach the hotel and check into your room for a relaxing overnight. If arrived early, you can choose to explore the local areas of Beijing at a leisurely pace.

Day 2 A full day tour of Beijing

Kick-start your day with a shiny day in Beijing. A delectable Chinese breakfast will call you at the center table of your room. The aroma of the food would not allow you to resist it in any case. Get done with breakfast and be ready to explore the wonderful city of Beijing with a private tour guide. Your kids are going to love the first day of this ultimate China vacation for families.

Start with the Tiananmen Square, world’s largest of its kind. Explore it all and then proceed to Egg - National Performing Arts Center and get a view of the modern exterior. Though you need not to hurry but in case you want to explore more in less, do pace up a bit and reach your next destination which is the Forbidden City of China. Here, the imperial palaces and monasteries await you with a picture-perfect backdrop. After this, you can opt to visit Beijing’s famous lanes( also known as Hutongs) and traditional family courtyards. If you are good at interacting, do visit the home of a local resident to hear their life stories.  Return to your hotel safely before the dark for the dinner.

Day 3: Visiting the Temples of Beijing

Wake up early in the morning for a temple visit day in Beijing. If you want to feel the temple in its purest form, wake up early and visit it in the early morning to hear the Taichi performed by local people. They do it along with some other exercises in the well-maintained parks. After breakfast, continue walking to the lively Panjiayuan Market. It is often bustled with buyers and vendors who bargain hard over antiques, furniture, accessories, traditional arts, and crafts. If you like some of their produces, do buy them to keep it as a memory of this China vacation trip. For lunch, you may either return to your hotel or satisfy your hunger cramps in the nearby Chinese Restaraunt. The choice is yours.

After lunch, pay a visit to the imperious Summer Palace. It is a beautiful place that reflects the imperial retreats of the Qing dynasty. While exploring the palace, you will marvel by the long corridors, longevity hill, and the Seventeen-Arch Bridge that are graced with exceptional beauty. Return to your hotel for dinner and a good night’s sleep.

Day 4: Hiking on the Great Wall of China

Finally, the day has come when you will witness one of the seven wonders of the world - the Great Wall of China. Carry less and eat less before stepping out. Replace your casual shoes with the sports one to get started with the hiking excursion on the Great Wall of China. If traveling with kids, make sure they are grown up enough to complete the excursion.

The rugged and scenic beauty of this place will capture your attention. When feeling tired, stop by small mountain village for lunch. You will meet some local people there. Try to interact with them for a fun time. After completing the excursion, you can spend the rest of the day freely on your own. Return back to your room for the evening snacks and Chinese drinks.
