Detailed Itinerary

Day 1- Santiago

Welcome to Santiago, the beautiful capital of Chile. The gateway to the majestic Andes mountain range, Santiago rests between dramatic peaks and the Pacific Ocean. On your arrival, your tour guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Once you settle down and take a short rest, explore this lively and beautiful city on a guided tour. Visit the historic district, the modern center and Santa Lucia Hill for a picturesque view of the metropolis.

Day 2 - Private Tour: Santiago City Sightseeing

Depart from your Santiago hotel in a comfortable private vehicle to start your tour to the historical center of the city. Cherish the diverse array of architectural styles as you wonder at the imperial grandeur of the Moneda Palace and soak up the vigorous atmosphere of Plaza de Armas. Enjoy the elaborate facade of the Cathedral, passing the majestic Central Post Office as you travel.  Admire the flourishing glory of Parque Forestal, a beautiful park based on the design of Paris’ Champs-Elysees, and feel the bohemian ambiance and vivid street art of Bellavista neighborhood. Climb to the summit of San Cristobal Hill for picturesque vistas of the glittering city, witnessing the dramatic Andes mountain range in the distance. End your cultural tour by exploring the bespoke boutiques of Los Granderos del Alba, a handicraft village in which artisan treasures are widespread. The market remains closed on Monday when an alternative appeal is substituted. The tour ends here to allow you to extend your exploration of the city independently.

Day 3 - Day Trip to Cajon Del Maipo from Santiago

Take a morning pickup from your hotel in Santiago. Your journey will be in an air-conditioned minivan out of the city toward Cajon del Maipo in the high Andes region outside of the city. As you travel, you’ll make timely stops to take in pictures of local waterfalls and glaciers. You’ll soon reach amidst the towering rock walls of this spectacular gorge area, taking time to absorb the picture-perfect views as your driver-guide prepares a picnic for you. Sip on Chilean wine and a snack prepared with local ingredients, a meal made even greater by your excellent view. After finishing your picnic and sightseeing of the area, board back into your van for the ride back to Santiago, where you’ll be reached at your hotel around 5 pm.

Day 4 - Frutillar from Santiago

After pickup from your hotel, you will proceed to Frutillar. Stroll along the Lake Llanquihue, the largest lake in Chile, with the background view of Volcano Osorno. Here, you shall experience viewing the grand German houses with lovely gardens full of fragrant roses, and the begonias. After you have wandered around the city accompanied by your expert guide, proceed to the van where you will go to view the monumental “Theatre of the Lake” of Frutillar. You can savor some "kuchen" (Chilean dessert) in this city or at any of the other stops during the day. From here, travel towards the south to the city of Puerto Varas.

Day 5 - Puerto Varas, and Petrohue Waterfalls

Puerto Varas was established by German settlers and is recognized for its German traditions, seafood, natural view, and luxurious hotels. This city rests on the banks of Llanquihue Lake. The lakefront receives the excellent view of the cone of Osorno Volcano and the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Calbuco and Mt Tronador. You will enjoy strolling around the city filled with fragrant roses and historical statues that depict the history and founding of the city. If you like shopping for souvenirs to take back home or just enjoy looking at the local crafts this is an excellent place to do it. You can also enjoy sipping a cold German beer at one of the many lakes facing cafes. The German beers they sell were all introduced here and are still made right here, in southern Chile. From here, we will proceed towards Ensenada, followed by Petrohue Waterfalls which is the cherry on the top of this wonderful excursion. Once you reach the location where the falls are located, you'll start on an easy walk with your guide to a walkway that leads to the waterfalls. You will view water plunging over the lip of volcanic rocks, with the waters turning brilliant shades of blue and green. Encircled by a lush forest, the falls stand against the impressive backdrop of Osorno Volcano, making for excellent photo opportunities. The magical and awesome emerald color of the lake is due to microscopic algae and minerals in the water. Legend says that whoever drinks these waters will see good luck for the rest of his or her life.

Day 6 - Casablanca Valley Wine Tasting Including 4 Vineyards

The tour will get started with your pick up by an air-conditioned vehicle from your hotel in Santiago in the morning. We will then travel towards Casablanca Valley, the Chilean capital of white wine. The most famous, boutique and largest wineries of Chile all have plantations in Casablanca Valley. On this tour, we will visit their plants and learn about their production, wine cellars, and plantations from the wine production experts. We have created an exciting itinerary so that you can learn all about Chile and their various wine valleys. Because Chile is not only famous for white wine and all our tastings will have a mix of different wine varieties from Colchagua Valley, Maipo Valley and of course Casablanca Valley. Our staff will be taking care of you so that you can enjoy properly, relax and take with you whatever you learned about Chile and our culture.
