Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Vienna to Salzburg by Eurail
After the arrival, the next day would be the visit to Vienna and Salzburg. The hotel or the tour provider would provide assisted transfer to Vienna Station. You would require boarding the Eurail to Salzburg from Vienna. At Salzburg, complete the check-in formalities as informed by the service provider at the pre-booked hotel. Here you can visit the first day on your own and seek to talk to the locals or have some taste of the local cuisines or shop at the markets as the tour would formally start from the second day onwards. The service provider would provide overnight stay in Salzburg.
Day 2: Touring Salzburg
On the second day of the Austria Tours, you will be assisted with a complimentary breakfast at the pre-booked hotel. You can spend your time visiting some of the natural attractions of the city or shopping for souvenirs.
Day 4: Touring Innsbruck
Innsbruck is one of the major attractions of the Austria Tours. At the pre-booked hotel, you will be provided with breakfast after which the tour shall start. The guides will take you to the tour of Innsbruck Swarovski Crystal World which is the major attraction of Innsbruck. It is located just 20 minutes outside of the Innsbruck and pays homage to the beautiful iconic crystal. The museum is well known worldwide for its ancestral art, architecture, and masterpieces of Swarovski. Here, you can spend the entire day and yet not complete the tour of the crystal world. Stay overnight at Innsbruck.
Day 5: Vienna Day Tour
After having breakfast at the pre-booked hotel at Innsbruck, you will proceed on the Vienna City Tour. The tour of the capital city would be 3.5 hour long with the tour guide and you will miss nothing on the tour. The tour guide will cover all major attractions such as Hofburg Palace, City Hall, and the Vienna State Opera as you drive along the famed Ringstrasse. Visit the Schnbrunn Palace, which is the lavish summer home of the Hapsburg Monarchs and is a major tourist attraction here. Later, proceed to the Belvedere Palace at a discounted price to see Gustav Klimt's 'Kiss' and other famous Austrian masterpieces of art. Stay overnight in Vienna.
Day 6: Vienna
You can have your breakfast at the pre-booked hotel in Vienna on the 6th day of the tour. On this day, indulge yourself in visiting various other parts of the city. You will be taken to the Schoenbrunn Zoo which is located within the Schoenbrunn Palace. The Zoo was established in the form of an imperial Menagerie in 1752. Also, it is the oldest zoo in the world and hence a place worth visiting. The zoo houses more than 4000 animals from each continent. This is the only place where you can find the giant pandas in Europe. Other animals in this zoo include koalas, elephants, jaguars, orangutans, etc. Thereafter, leave for your next adventure, which is a ride on the world-famous Giant Ferris Wheel, constructed around 105 years ago as the Wiener Riesenrad.
Day 7: Departure
On the last day, you will be provided breakfast by the hotel you have been living in, and then an assisted transfer will be made to the Vienna International Airport.
