Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Santiago

The energetic streets of Santiago de Chile possess a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The museums here offer a deep insight into the past of Spanish conquerors as well as the former lives of the native tribes. Skyscrapers emulate the mountaintops, while the eateries opening along the sidewalks in the evenings provide comfort to the hungry passersby. From the heart of the city rises the summit of Cerro San Cristobal and murals which depict the thunderous history of Santiago. Your flight will land at the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport.

Day 2: Colchagua Valley Wine Tour

Today, you’ll start your Chilean wine tasting excursion. The valley of Colchagua lies 100 miles south of the capital city of Chile. At the foothills of the Andes Mountains,  the vines absorb the rich minerals in the soil. The sociable locals, the farmhouses and the preserved traditions provide a rural charm to the valley. Shades of emerald glowing vines and the lush trees growing on the foothills against the bright blue sky present a magical mystery to the entire scenario. The vineyard covers over 640 acres of the land offering guidance by someone who understands the winemaking methods and wine tasting. Venture through the trails of the vineyard and feel the dusty, plumpy edges of the grapes sprouting beneath the leaves.

Day 3: Exploring North Patagonia

This morning, you climb aboard a private helicopter and occupy a scenic flight over the marvelous landscape of northern Patagonia at National Park Alerce Andino. You’ll witness the lush forest canopy growing densely against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. This unique view of the landscape is breathtaking as well as thrilling.

Day 4: Return to Santiago

After spending an entire day in Northern Patagonia and exploring its landscape at its best, you are transferred to the airport, returning back to Santiago for the evening.

Days 5: Fly to Easter Island and delight in a Snorkeling Christmas Eve Tour

At Cerro Santa Lucia Hill, the locals head out towards the market searching for the handmade leather shoes and some musical instruments on the eve of Christmas. Today, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Easter Island.  Situated over 1,750 miles off the coast of the mainland Chile, this island remains as one of the most remote inhabited areas in the globe. Here, the pristine waters of the Pacific add an enticing atmosphere, while the unusual stone sculptures provide an enthralling mystique. Venture to the astonishing grounds of the Explora Rapa Nui hotel which is situated on a stretch of over 23 acres. This includes a hillside looking out to the gleaming ocean. The splendid architecture of the hotel blends into the hills and the trees. The hotel’s restaurant provides views of the grassland leading down the slopes of the hill toward the water. The beauty of the landscape marks the arrival of the spirit of Christmas and soon you will be able to celebrate the Christmas Eve in the company of the sparkling marine life of the Island.

Day 6: Depart for Home

Today morning, your private transfer will meet you at Explora Rapa Nui and will escort you to Mataveri International Airport for your flight back to Santiago. From there, you’ll head back towards your home carrying unforgettable memories as a return gift from your Christmas time on Easter Island.
