Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Ston and Korcula Island Day Trip

What better way to immerse yourself in the beauty and culture of Croatia than to take a tour of Ston and Korcula Island from Dubrovnik and then combine it with a wine tour! After you’ve been picked up at your hotel, you’ll be driven to the Ston and get the chance to learn about the fascinating history and wander around the medieval town and walls, and even try some oysters if you chose. Later, take a boat in Orebic for a ride to beautiful Korcula Island where your guide will take you to visit St Marco Cathedral and the supposed birthplace of Marco Polo. On your journey, learn all about the Peljesac peninsula wineries and mussel-breeding before enjoying the delights of wine tasting and samples of brandy and liqueur with a sommelier.

You get great value for your money with the Dubrovnik Super Saver, which combines two tours for amazing value for money. Starting with the mountain cable car ride, you’ll see amazing views across Dubrovnik’s Old Town, Stari Grad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe, and panoramic views of the blue Adriatic Sea. Once back in the old town, explore highlights including Onofrio’s Fountain, Franciscan Monastery, Renaissance-era Sponza Palace, Church of St. Blaise and the Cathedral of the Assumption. Moving at a leisurely pace, your knowledgeable guide will allow plenty of splendid photo opportunities to impress your friends when you get home.
