If you enjoy Japanese food, fun, and live entertainment, then mark your calendar for the Delicious Little Tokyo weekend celebration Friday, July 29 through Sunday, July 31, 2016. This event will be a three-part celebration held in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles, California. Hosted by the Go Little Tokyo community organization, this family-friendly bash begins at 9 a.m. Friday morning and ends at 9 p.m. Sunday night.
Go Little Tokyo, the organizers of this Delicious Little Tokyo weekend, is a Little Tokyo Community Council-run neighborhood marketing campaign which was founded by Community Arts Resources and financed by the Metro Los Angeles / Metro Regional Connector. They remind everyone once more that for this weekend only, those in attendance will be able to “find great deals, discounts, specials, and promotions at many of your favorite Little Tokyo shops and restaurants!”
In a recent message via Facebook the event hosts commented on what they refer to as a weekend full of exciting culinary recipes, in the heart of L.A. They reiterate that the weekend will include many of the delectable food and drinks from the streets of Little Tokyo! The event invites all food lovers to experience the delectable cuisines and culinary culture that the restaurants of Little Tokyo offer. The organizers also note that for this special occasion, some Little Tokyo restaurants will offer the attendees significant discounts, special menu items, giveaways, and workshops.
All in attendance are encouraged to enter the Delicious Little Tokyo Free Drawing contest. You can even purchase collectibles at any of your favorite Little Tokyo businesses to enter the free drawing competition. The winners will receive the Little Tokyo Food-Lover’s Ultimate Package as a prize.
