Get ready for A Night of Magic Drinks for Harry Potter
Yes, whether you be a mudblood, a muggle, a wizard or a formerly homeless woman with far too much money for her “contribution” to society, you just might want to hop onto the next flying broomstick out of town and check out A Night of Magic: Drinks for Harry Potter.
A Night of Magic: Drinks for Harry Potter will be held at the Think Tank Gallery (located at 939 Maple Avenue, Suite 200) in Los Angeles, California on Friday, July 29, 2016. Presented by HOP Media, the excitement begins at 10:30 p.m. and ends at 2:30 a.m. No door time is specified but it’s always a good rule to arrive a minimum of half an hour before any event especially if there is no reserved seating. This promises to be a night of fun, drinks, music and more. In recent messages via Facebook and the official event website, unidentified HOP representatives discussed this evening of enchanted imbibements. They note that they can think of no better way to mark the birthday of Harry Potter than a celebratory evening at what is known as "one of the most iconic American wizarding bars."
They add that both wizards and witches are welcome to come out for this one-time night of dancing, drinking, and magic at what they refer to as "The Wooden Beetle Bar" which is reported to be on of California's most famous hangouts for wizards and witches. They state that those in attendance can enjoy such pastimes as beer pong Quidditch, casino table games, past life readings and more. Each witch or wizard's wristband includes access to the event, free drinks and everything else. Interested parties are encouraged to wear clothing appropriate for the world of witches and wizards.
This is a 21 and over the event. Valid photo ID will be required at the door. Tickets (wristbands) will not be available for purchase at the door. Tickets (or rather wristbands) for this event are presently priced at $44.00. The wristbands will be available at will call upon entrance to the event. HOP also would like to remind all interested in attending that all wristband sales are final. As a general rule, tickets are always transferrable however everyone must always be wearing the correct event wristband.
HOP management also notes that in the case that this event would be canceled, guests would be given the choice of going to another event in the future if they are not able to attend the rescheduled event. All canceled events are rebooked but HOP management understands that people cannot always coordinate their calendars. They conclude: “Keep your wristbands close" because they are not able to replace lost or misplaces wristbands. Additional information is available at this official website.
