Day 1: Travel to the remote and the calm Palmwag region, Kaokoland

Kickstart your Namibia safari adventure by heading north to the tranquil and remote region of Kaokoland, Palmwag. Feel the freshness of palm trees and the smell of widespread Namibia desert swaying all around the roads. Land to your lodge and relax for a while to get started with your ultimate Namibia safari.

Day 2: The beginning of the walking safari

Have an early breakfast so that you can leave for your safari. Take up a wildlife drive to Mba Kondja Camel Camp and meet the Save the Rhino Camel team. These are the people who will guide you all the way long so that you nothing remains unseen when on a walking safari. You may walk or ride south to the Aub River, which completely depends on your preferences.

Day 3: Walk to the Barab River

Continue your walking safari by walking to the Barab River. Concentrate mainly on the tracks of the exclusive desert giants surrounded by rocky landscapes, diverse geology, and a series of hills. And, if you have stepped into this land in the rainy season, you will get to see the golden grasses that cover the gravel plains and look stunning while rippling in the wind.

Day 4: A journey to the Kudu Springs

After exploring the deserts, it’s time to move to the west. Take a walk from the Okomutati Springs to Kudu Springs, an area that is almost inaccessible to vehicles. The Kudu Springs is known for the pristine wilderness that reside there. This place has a sense of remoteness which is unique and appealing. While exploring this area, you will get to see the extraordinary plant life including the ancient Welwitschia plants and numerous lichens.

Day 5: Exploring the Hunkab Spring

While heading northwards, you will be reaching to the Hunkab Spring. This is the place where you will actually see some natural water sources in the desert satisfying seasonal animals' thirst. A diverse range of animals can be seen at this place which is no less than rarity. From mountain zebras to elephants and the endemic Ruppell’s korhaan, you will see animals from various breeds coming to Hunkab Spring to slake their thirst.
