Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Jump Into the Rainforest of Mangabeys and Colobus Monkeys

The day one of your trip will be a bit hectic as you will flying from Entebbe to Kibale National Park. On arrival at the National Park of Kibale, you will realize how stunning the park actually is. The lush smells, strange sounds, and lots of greenery all around will make you feel exotic. As you proceed inside the park, you will realize that the park is actually a home to hundreds of Mangabeys who are starring you from the highest branches of the trees. You will find a dozen of primate species with a smattering of antelopes and other four-legged forest dwellers. Do not miss to spot the Colobus monkeys who are among the primate species of the park. Explore all this while proceeding towards your lodge which is deep inside the rainforest.

Day 2: Trek with the Chimpanzees at Kibale National Park

Kibale is known for the ultimate Chimpanzee trekking that it offers to all the travellers who want to see them closely. The Chimpanzees are the closest cousins of humans and seeing them from just a few metres away, is one-of-a-kind experience. You can see one, two, or maybe 40 Chimpanzees at one time. The first hour of your trekking can be heart racing, but after that you will start admiring the atmosphere and your closest cousins. Chimpanzees will see you, observe you with a strange look, focus on your walk as you are doing it on two legs, get fascinated by the shiny objects you are holding in your hands, and much more. It’s certainly long enough to take plenty of photos, then put the camera down and soak up the atmosphere of the experience.

Day 3: Spot the Rare Animals of the Savannah and the Forest at  Semuliki National Park

Semuliki National Park is a remote national park in the far west of Uganda. It witnesses the existence of forest elephants who are known for creating the walking trails in Semuliki. Since the animal encounters are unpredictable at Semuliki, hence it is the least visited parked in the Uganda Safari.

Day 4: Witnessing Exclusive Two-leg Walking of Chimpanzees

Though, the elephant encounters at Simulki are unpredictable, but it is the place where you will get to see your closest cousin walking on two legs. You will not see them walking like this anywhere else and this makes Simulki a must to visit park when on a Uganda Safari. They live much lower here, coming down from the forest canopy to occupy ground level. Be on a hours long second trek with Chimpanzees and spend some time with your primate cousins at Simulki National Park. If lucky enough, you will get to elephants walking in trails across the park.

Day 5-7: A Unique Gorilla Trekking and Cruising Over the Volcanic Mountains at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

On your trip to Uganda, Bwindi will be the last place you will visit and explore. Being last on your safari destination, does not mean that it has least to show, infcat, you will have to spend 2-3 days at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to explore and discover it completely. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park offers a unique gorilla trekking that will make you go crazy. The cruising over the volcanic mountains and spotting the golden monkeys is insanely exotic. Your legs may be tired, but there’s no way you would forego the ultimate gorilla trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
