DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Entering Kigali - a hotel with a scented history

Located in the heart of the city, Kigali is a hotel which has a deep and scented history. It has been glamorized in a movie and book about the genocide and hence deserves to be your first priority to stay when on a Rwanda tour. So, land to the Kigali hotel while touring the city and stay glamorized during your stay.

Day 2: Spending a day with the survivors of the city

There’s nothing better than listening to the survival stories of the city from the mouth of survivors. Spend your second day exploring the city and interacting with the real survivors who were lucky enough to survive the disaster. Listen up the haunting tales, stories of destruction, the brutality, and the silence of the world. Visit the memorials and see real human bones stacked, rags hanging from rafters, blood stains on the walls, and battered skulls that show the method of murder. The day second of your tour will add some solid chunks to your brain and make you aware of the devastating history of Rwanda.

Day 3: Exploring the land of the Nyanza kings

On day 3, start your journey from Butare to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Know about the land of the Nyanza kings and get amazed by its beauty.  Butare is the old-world Rwandan capital, wherein you will get to know about its incredible past through the Rwanda Ethnographic Museum. Day 4: Have a captivating Chimpanzee trekking at Nyungwe Forest National Park

Nyungwe Forest National Park is a home to Baboons, red-tailed monkeys, and L’Hoest’s monkeys and hence make it a beautiful place to visit on a Rwanda tour. You can spend your entire day at Nyungwe Forest National Park for a captivating Chimpanzee trekking and capture some incredible wildlife memories to be cherished for the rest of your life. Day 5: Experience the thrills of Gorillas at Volcanoes National Park
