Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Kenya

Meet your private guide at Nairobi airport, who will transfer you to your hotel. Set off with your guide on an introductory tour of the city. Drive to Amboseli to spot the huge and massive African elephant herds residing at the foothill of the majestic Kilimanjaro. Following that, enjoy a lavish dinner at a premium restaurant before retiring to your resort for the night.

Day 2: Exploring Karura Forest

Today, explore "Karura forest." The natural beauty of the forest covers about 2,750 acres (1,113 hectares) of land. The forest has defined pathways for visitors to walk through or bike on as they explore the beauty of the surroundings. The forest is home to about 200 species of birds and other animals, such as porcupines, bush pigs, monkeys, and many other animals and reptiles. You will surely bump into many creatures on the way and take pictures. Also within the forest is a beautiful, serene waterfall and a running river, a great site to behold.

Day 3: Venturing to Nairobi National Park

Venture to Nairobi National park, one of the world's most famous game reserves because it is found in a major business central city. The park is in an open field in the town, with wild animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, black rhinos, hyenas, and buffaloes, among other animals. Enjoy peeking at over 400 species of wild birds present in the park. The park has defined hiking trails and picnic sites for visitors.

Day 4: Discovering Kenya National Archives

Today, discover the Kenya National Archives, which was established in 1965. The Murumbi Gallery contains African artifacts collected from the 19th century. The gallery is named after Joseph Murumbi, the then-vice president of Kenya, who owned the collection before an agreement to hand it to the government. Stroll through the biggest pan-African art gallery in Africa. Apart from African artifacts, browse through the huge library collection of African books.

Day 5: Strolling in Nairobi Gallery

Today, visit the Nairobi Gallery. This gallery was built in 1913 and was commonly called the hatches matches and dispatches because of the births, marriages, and deaths there. This was the first pan-African gallery to be opened, and the Late Joseph Murumbi opened it. Like the archives, he sold the studio to the government in 1976. Learn about the history and culture of the nation in this wonderful gallery.

Day 6: Heading to Karen Blixen Coffee Garden

Discover "The Karen Blixen Coffee Garden and Cottages, " built around 1906 to 1908. The coffee garden sits on a huge plot of land with different types of beautiful flowers and a population of birds. Besides the beautiful scenery, the garden has an excellent restaurant and bar where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent view. The beautiful cottages surround the gardens with jacaranda, candelabra, and other trees. Relax in the cabins, which are designed after historic Swede houses. The garden is a beautiful, perfect place for a getaway and fun.

Day 7: Enjoying Lake Nakuru National Park

Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast and hot cappuccino served in your room. Then, your guide will drive you in a private vehicle east of Lake Naivasha. After a few hours of driving, you will reach your next destination, which is the stunning reserve of Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is Kenya's first national park, which is why this park witnesses such a huge concentration of animals in it. Peek at buffaloes, pink flamingos, zebras, baboons, and even the most endangered white rhinos. You might be able to spot at least 7 rare species of rhinos. Not only this, you might be able to spot some tree-climbing lions, which Lake Nakuru is mainly famous for. Then, explore Lake Nakuru National Park and find some of the most stunning spots, including elevated lookouts and waterfalls. Day 8: David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an organization focusing on elephant conservation to save them from extinction. They do so by helping and rescuing orphaned elephants whose parents might have been killed by poachers. Learn that the organization operates a digital foster program where people worldwide can adopt an elephant and support it through a 50 USD donation per year. The orphanage is located in the Nairobi National Park and is a great place to visit.

Day 9: Fascinating Nairobi National Museum

Discovering the Nairobi National Museum that was opened back in 1910 but was closed in 2006 and later reopened in 2008, bigger and better. The museum adequately represents Kenya's contemporary art, nature, history, and culture. The park is also famous for the snake park within the museum. It also has a nature trail that lets you enjoy the nature and botanical gardens within the museum. This is a great place to visit with friends and family for a fun day out.

Day 10: Touring Ngong Hills

Ngong Hills got its name when the colonialists could not pronounce the Maasai name given to the place, Enkong'u Emuny, which means rhinoceros spring. The hills are green and so beautiful to hike on, along with the defined trails by the Kenya Forestry services. The South peak overlooks the Rift Valley, giving a breathtaking view, while on the North hill is an active wind farm filled with windmills.

Day 11: Departure

Today, your private guide will transfer you to the airport for your international departure.
