Manzana de las Luces is a Spanish word meaning 'Illuminating Block' which features the San Ignacio Church and Colegio Nacional Buenos Aires. This historical block began in 1675 with the construction of the church and the Colegio de la Compana by the Jesuit monks.
The Casa Rosada is a Buenos Aires landmark representing the executive branch of the government of Argentina and also serves as the President's office.
